Welcome to our February 2023 blog post! This month, we've been busy adding features and updates to the TourDesk software and partnering with new affiliates and suppliers. We're also gearing up for something exciting - a part of the TourDesk team attending the IHF Showtel Trade Exhibition in Kerry Ireland and the ITB Travel Trade Show in Berlin, Germany. We can't wait to meet you there!

So without further ado, let's dive into what's been happening at TourDesk in February 2023!

New features in TourDesk

The developers have been hard at work this past month, adding features and updates to the TourDesk software. With their help, we're able to ensure that our customers always have access to the best features available!

Favicon

Our affiliate users can now upload a favicon to their TourDesk Sales Portal, making it easier to customize and personalise the experience. A favicon is a little icon you see in your browser tab next to the website’s name.
 

Multiday tours

We've made it easier to book multi-day tours by separating them from the other types of tours in our TourDesk sales portal. This will help users quickly view and search available tours allowing them to make more informed decisions when booking. 

New TourDesk partners

We’ve been working hard this month to expand our network of affiliates and suppliers. The TourDesk supplier team has now added several new suppliers to the system. With these new additions, we're able to provide even better services to the TourDesk customer base. We're always looking for ways to improve our offerings, and these new suppliers help the TourDesk team do just that.

Our new suppliers include:

•  Wells Sermo, UK - A self-guided experience that offers an immersive 'whodunnit' adventure around different cities in the UK
• Secret Food Tours, UK - Offering tours where you can explore both local food and cuisine from across the globe.

By welcoming new suppliers to the TourDesk system, we’re able to provide our resellers with a huge variety of tours to choose from, making it easier for them to find the perfect tour for their guests. And with the TourDesk system, they'll be able to see exactly what's available, compare prices, and book tours quickly and easily. So if you're looking for a great deal on a tour, keep an eye out for our resellers - they'll definitely be able to help you out using TourDesk! 

Other great news from our TourDesk affiliate partners: we have now officially made the first sale with Virgin Hotel Edinburgh! This is a huge accomplishment for the TourDesk team, and we're so excited to continue working with them. TourDesk is an essential part of their business, and we're honored to be a part of it. We're looking forward to continuing our work with Virgin Hotels and helping them grow their business.
We hope our new partners will bring even more choice and value to TourDesk customers and we look forward to continuing working with them.

TourDesk at the IHF Showtel Trade Exhibition and the ITB Travel Trade Show

The Irish Hotel Federation is hosting a Showtel Trade Exhibition in Kerry on the 6-7th of March, and we're excited to be attending! This is a great opportunity to network with other hoteliers and learn about the latest industry trends. We'll also be showcasing TourDesk's services, and we hope to meet some new potential clients. If you're in the hotel business, this is definitely an event not to be missed. We’ll be at Stand C40 and look forward to meeting you in person! Take a look at the TourDesk profile here.

We're also excited to announce that we'll be attending the ITB Travel Trade Show in Berlin this year! The Travel Trade Show will take place on the 7-9th of March 2023. This is a great opportunity for us to meet with potential partners and customers, and showcase TourDesk. There’ll be five members of the TourDesk team at the show and we hope to see you there!
