The first month of the Icelandic hotel reception “competition” is now over and we’re excited to share with you some results!

Overall, I don’t think anyone can complain about October! We still haven’t been bombarded with snowstorms, the northern lights played very favourably, and Iceland managed to welcome almost pre-covid level of visitors!

So!

The target was set at 500.000 ISK in sales per agent, enough to keep it interesting, but not so much as to be overwhelming.

And we definitely saw some great results!

In the month just under 300 individual receptionists and concierges in Iceland booked tours, transfers and activities with TourDesk! On average, each person booked over 10 bookings in the month, but the *leader* completed a whopping 101 booking!

Now:

In the month there were *30* individuals that reached the target of 500k, and they came from 19 different hotels! Of the 30, a further 6 managed to even break 1m and to take it a step further, two superstars sold for over 2million! (Well done VAN at Exeter and ANH at 22 Hill!)

The prizes for the month will be delivered in the next few days! Now let’s see what November brings!
